She provides operational management of the editorial board, handles manuscripts that present an institutional conflict interest for the editorial board, coordinates efforts between the JCI and JCI Insight, and oversees a team of professional editors in the development of Reviews and Commentaries for the JCI.

Corinne Williams, Senior Science Editor, earned her PhD in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined the editorial staff of the JCI in 2013 and was part of the editorial team that launched JCI Insight in 2016. Dr. Williams primarily provides operational support for the JCI Insight Editorial Board, including commissioning and editing journal frontmatter content, manuscript handing, and coordinating efforts with the JCI.
