To the Editor: Lichen planus (LP) is a chronic relapsing inflammatory disorder of the skin and
mucous membranes affecting 1% to 2% of the general population. E1-E4 Clinically, it is
characterized by reticular purple papules and plaques of the skin and white papules and
erosions of the mucous membranes. Overall, LP poses a major therapeutic challenge based
