OBJECTIVES: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) may represent a transition to early
Alzheimer's disease (AD). The retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) is composed of axons
originating in retinal ganglion cells that eventually form the optic nerves. Previous studies
