RESULTS After expansion with DCs, CD4+ CD25+ CD62L+ cells from BDC2. 5 mice retain
high Foxp3 and CD62L expression and divide in the pancreatic lymph node Previously, we
showed that bone marrow–derived DCs loaded with cognate peptide were effective at
inducing expansion of CD4+ CD25+ T cells (8, 9). In this study, we further separated this
population before expansion, according to expression of the lymph node homing and
memory/activation marker CD62L, into CD4+ CD25+ CD62L+ and CD4+ CD25+ …

Previously, we showed that bone marrow–derived DCs loaded with cognate peptide were effective at inducing expansion of CD4+ CD25+ T cells (8, 9). In this study, we further separated this population before expansion, according to expression of the lymph node homing and memory/activation marker CD62L, into CD4+ CD25+ CD62L+ and CD4+ CD25+ CD62L−(Fig. 1 A). CD62L+ cells can home to lymph nodes, which may be important for T reg cell function
