OBJECTIVE: Ferumoxytol, an iron oxide nanoparticle that targets phagocytic cells, can be
used in magnetic resonance imaging of malignant brain tumors and can be administered as
a bolus, allowing dynamic imaging. Our objectives were to determine the optimum time of
