Phosphatidylinositol (PtdIns) 3-kinase is an enzyme implicated in growth factor signal
transduction by associating with receptor and nonreceptor tyrosine kinases, including the
platelet-derived growth factor receptor. Inhibitors of PtdIns 3-kinase could potentially give a
