Purpose Radiation-induced pulmonary fibrosis (RIPF) is a late toxicity of therapeutic
radiation. Signaling of the mammalian target of rapamycin drives several processes
implicated in RIPF, including inflammatory cytokine production, fibroblast proliferation, and
