Background & Aims Adipose tissue (AT)-derived fatty acids (FAs) are utilized for hepatic
triacylglycerol (TG) generation upon fasting. However, their potential impact as signaling
molecules is not established. Herein we examined the role of exogenous AT-derived FAs in
