Dysbiosis is a key pathogenic factor in the cycle of skin barrier impairment and inflammation
in atopic dermatitis (AD). Skin microbial composition in AD is characterized by increased
presence of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and decrease in microbial diversity and
