The IFN-γ release assays (IGRAs) based on region of difference 1 (RD1) antigens have
improved diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infection. However, IGRAs with
these antigens could not distinguish latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) from active
