Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and its receptor tyrosine kinase B (trkB) influence
neuronal survival, differentiation, synaptogenesis, and maintenance. Using in situ
hybridization we examined the spatial and temporal expression of mRNAs encoding these
