Ureaplasma spp. are the most frequently isolated microorganisms inside the amniotic cavity
and have been associated with spontaneous abortion, chorioamnionitis, premature rupture
of the membranes (PROM), and preterm labor (PL). We analyzed 118 samples from amniotic
