OBJECTIVES: We characterized the transcriptional profiles of GM-CSF-(GM-MØ) and M-CSF-
induced macrophages (M-MØ) and investigated in situ a subset of differentially expressed
genes in human and mouse atherosclerotic lesions. METHODS AND RESULTS: Using
