Cell cycle control and migration are critical processes during development and maintenance
of tissue functions. Recently, primary cilia were shown to take part in coordination of the
signaling pathways that control these cellular processes in human health and disease. In
this review, we present an overview of the function of primary cilia and the centrosome in the
signaling pathways that regulate cell cycle control and migration with focus on ciliary
