Abstract Familial cylindromatosis (Brooke-Spiegler syndrome) is a rare autosomal dominant
inherited disease characterized by the development of adnexal tumors, mostly cylindromas,
but also trichoepitheliomas and spiradenomas. Malignant tumors may occur, usually with the
features of a cylindrocarcinoma.
