Antiphospholipid syndrome

The antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) is defined by the development of venous and/or
arterial thromboses, often multiple, and pregnancy morbidity (mainly, recurrent fetal losses),
in the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL). Some estimates indicate that the
