PURPOSE: To report outcomes, failures, and toxicities in patients treated with intensity-
modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for squamous cell carcinoma of the oropharynx. METHODS
AND MATERIALS: Between Aug 2001 and Oct 2007, 107 patients were treated with IMRT
with curative intent at Stanford University. Twenty-two patients were treated postoperatively,
