An oxygen chamber is. of course, ideal, for thle oxygen tension can be exactly regulated. It is a luxury, hlowever, whicll is restricted to a few institutions of sufficient wealtlh, and even in tllem it can only be used in a small proportion of cases, so tllat the lesser hospitals anid the private practitioner must look elsewhere.
