Objective We investigated possible abnormalities in the retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) and
macula lutea of patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive
impairment (MCI) and tested for any correlation with the severity of dementia. Methods A
