Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a common and life-threatening complication of pulmonary
fibrosis. Estradiol (E2) is protective in experimental PH, and its non-estrogenic metabolite 2-
methoxyestradiol (2ME) prevents the development and retards the progression of
