[PDF][PDF] Lymphatic vessels in human alveolar bone
J Barker - Lymphology, 1982 - journals.uair.arizona.edu
There are large vessels within the trabecular spaces of human alveolar bone buccal to the
maxillary first premolars. In form and fine stru~ t~ re the~ es sels are collecting lymphatics
which ongmate as Ini-tial lymphatics within the periodontal membrane and extend through
the buccal plate of bone. By contrast, present evidence suggests that such vessels do not
exist in long bones.
