Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) covers a spectrum of liver disease from simple
steatosis to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and cirrhosis. NAFLD is commonly
associated with features of the metabolic/insulin resistance syndrome ('Metabolic/Obese
