Recurrent diarrhea is a common complication of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI).
Recurrent CDI (r-CDI) may be produced by the persistence of spores (relapse) or by the
acquisition of a new strain (reinfection). In this study, we analyze epidemiological, clinical,
